How to identify 964 and 911 fixed rear 1/4 window seals ?

How do I identify the difference between 964 and 911(pre '88) fixed rear 1/4 window seals ?
They both have similar inserts but one is designed for the slightly larger (?) 964 rear 1/4 glass and the taller welded seals of the body shell caused by moving to new robotic assembly line.
But how do you tell the seal apart
