911 sport seats - scheel vs recaro

Good afternoon Gentlemen

I kindly need your help to identify better the story of my seats.

My 911 T 2,2 my 1970 (ex usa) has front bucket seats with "scheel" logo.

Headrest are standard 911 headrest, upholstery is a black corduroy (same as porsche 911 my 1973/recaro seats according to upholstery provider) on seat and vinyl on back.

Does anybody know the story of scheel seats?

On the web I only found that (now?) Scheel is an australian brand that in the past produced buckets seat similar (on licence) to Recaro seats

If anybody of you has more information I will appreciate.

Scheel was/is a german company based nr Stuttgart & they've been making seats since the mid '60's.

You tend to see them mainly fitted to (but not limited to) german cars - especially BMW, Porsche, NSU, etc.

I had a pair of those Scheel (aftermarket) reclining seats that you pictured many years ago & can confirm that they are very comfortable.

also had a pair in 911E in mid '70 s .........very good value , mine came out of German Ford .......very comfortable and grippy after the original 911 comfort seats ,also lot lighter

I've also got a pair of these that came with a 911 I bought - must thing about getting them recovered.....
