H1 LED in CibiePallas lights?

I have acquired a set of lovely Cibie Pallas lights. (Repro via Auto Foreign Services in USA) to add in winter work.
I am running H4 LED bulbs in headlights ( excellent upgrade!!) and am considering same for the H1s in these.
Anyone done this?
Any caveats?
