Looks very tidy in the pics, my Dutch isn’t up to much so can’t read the details. Seats are aftermarket and wheels are later 14” Fuchs but both look nice. Could be a great road trip to go and inspect it if nothing else 8)

Sounds very expensive to me - especially considering that it's got a mish-mash of swb & lwb parts !

For instance the gauges & exterior door handles are from later models ('68/'69) ...

I would agree with Andy. I am not sure they have the date correct as along with the guages and door handles it also has the later 68/69 engine mount as well. It looks more like a 68MY car as still a SWB model I think.

Yep, I’d agree with others above, definitely looks like a 68 but is missing its 68 only side repeaters.

Door handles are 69 but I’ve seen a few 68s with them so must have been a bit of a 68/69 cross over part I’d imagine.

The door handles are 68 and most of the dials are 68. Would be good to see some decent pictures of the interior to see the seatbelt mount locations. Could be an early 68 car with some leftover 67 parts. We have a very early 68 for restoration which has 65-67 shell with a 68 vin and engine numbers which all check out and a mix of 67 and 68 interior

The door handles are definitely 68 the same as on my 68MY built Sept 1967, not sure about the side repeaters, I have none, what did they look like?

Not sure what is happening with the 'J' tubes on the exhaust

Side repeaters were 68 only, and I think US only possibly, shown here:

Many have been removed over the years.

You could get an awfully good Boxster for the money, or what about the 964 in the adjoining advert.

European heaters, hence the additional blower tube across the engine bay. Looks like it is running aftermarket carbs and the preheat tube from the rhs of the luggage bag is not attached. Agreed it looks like a 68 with different seats. I'd like to see the rest of the interior too. Also on the rhs of the engine bay it looks as though there is an extra tab for holding in the sound deadening of the engine bay although this is now missing. I don't have these on my 68, the insulation is simply held in with contact adhesive. At least it was until it disintegrated. I wonder what it looks like under the hood, but on the surface looks like a nice car if a bit mixed up.Matt
