Hello all!
My name is Steve Smith and I live in Knoxville TN and found out about your site through one of your members, redrobin911. Thanks for the recommendation, Robin. And a great car you have. I should say cars.
A little about me. I have 2 67's. Both started life as 912's and one is a Zuffenhausen car and the other is a Karmann. The Zuffy I bought in 1993, had it stolen in 96, it was stripped but recovered. I converted it to fit a 911 engine (3.0) and sold the engine and trans to start a business and have just recently started building the car back. The Karmy is a Flintstone car being used for parts but will be restored eventually. I have been making videos of the restoration process (Restore 911/912 is the youtube channel) but have become distracted/possessed by making an exact replica of the wiring harness. So the videos to date have mostly (exclusively) focus on the harness journey. But the harness is almost completed and I am looking forward to moving forward to the next stage of the restoration.
So thanks for having me!
Steve
