912's South Coast Owners

Post by 912uk »

Any one still own a 912 in the South?
I've sadly lost touch with who and where these days. But thought as summer is coming to a close and I have been a bit busy again this year.. when did Feb turn into Sept!!
Winter is looming and I have really not had my car out this year !!

so any South Coast 12 owners got any thing planned or an event in Sept ( other than Revival which we may come in the 12.. may not.. Poss Camper van sadly this is is how I roll these days.. comfort over fingers crossed LOL )

not posted any thing like this for a long time, so here goes.

I've still got mine Mark. Was going to go to the Alton car show (crotch cooler) today but took the car out for fuel and front brake was binding and smoking. Tried to release the caliper and then the brake line from caliper cracked. Going to get the front calipers refurbished and new discs etc so may one day be back on the road. Good day for it too but not so good to be messing around with brakes!!!

Dan.. I had that.. been in storage too long and I pulled the car out and it was stuck.. had them free'd off and well it's ok but not what I want really so time to splash some cash on these..

yeah I have seen them shows I only didn't go to that as the organizer was asking for me to come as he was the guy who started his snows down in Gosport Sea front but he had a cut off of 1990 and my wife's 944 Cab is 91 and he was strict about it and I thought well if your letting in loads of MG Convertibles in by the bucket load and Mazda MX5's yet a 944 Cab one of 250 on the UK DVLA's books.. see ya later.. so I never went..

I'm toying with Goodwood next week>
