Looks like DB has fallen on hard times. His 69 ‘S’ a la Steve McQueen slate grey colour combination is up for sale at the London dealers DD Classics.
The ‘real’ one from the film is coming up for auction soon I believe, again........

That was built by "Lee Mayor classics" - I almost bought it, was £70 grand about five years ago.
The DD advert says "owned by an internationally renowned sportsman" - might have belonged to Harvey Smith !

Indeed! I own another Lee Mayor creation which is an homage to the David Beckham S which is an homage to the LM S!

I'm no oil painting myself, but I'm pretty sure she could do with a backdate pretty soon
