Evening...spot of bother with my 914 window. Mrs C and I are cruising across northern France and today it rained...a lot and she over did the winding when tightening the window..in Sarah's defence water was dripping on to her!!

The toothed section of the mech has detached from the cog on the back of the window winder. Taken door card off but not able to refit or even see how it goes

Any thoughts (of the helpful variety!!..) much appreciated

Are you able to remove it? 2 blocks of wood to secure the window shut in the interim.

You should be able to undo the nuts that hold the channel which fixes the window to the mechanism, and hold up with some pieces of wood as suggested (to save removing the whole mechanism)
