Have been looking at various pics of uk 911s in period photos and have seen plenty with ace style number plates
Having looked through my shed I've got enough letters etc to create a pair of original ace number plates but can't decide if they would look too "old " for my car
What's the opinion on ddk ?

They would look absolutely ace. Pun intended.
Murph has similar on his '71 Targa, although a different lettertype. Rather those than godawful modern ones in New Charles Wright.

Thanks ,, I keep looking at them but didn't want to spoil the car by using an older style number plate than would've been originally fitted
Having researched what I could ,,it seems this style of letter is late 60s so its not a long way off for my 71
Hopefully I will get a few more opinions good or bad to help sway me one way or the other
Cheers all !

They look exactly like the style of letters and numbers on my first car, a 1968 Hillman Imp.
Regards
