Car mags - what to do?
Posted: Fri Apr 13, 2018 10:18 am
We’re downsizing very soon - very little room for the large number of car mags I’ve collected over the years. I like having them, but in all honesty, I refer to very few of them, only really to read a selection of driver reviews if ever I’m thinking of changing to a different model. ie not often.
What on earth do you do with them? It’s ridiculous to take them all the tip when someone might be really interested in them. But selling them all singly on eBay as some people seem to try to do, well, life’s too short.
I thought I’d start on DDK. Tell me if you think I’m doing this the wrong way.
Firstly I’ll point out that I’ve listed for auction on eBay 2 of them that by virtue of their scarcity might be of particular value to people trying to complete their collections. This is the first issue of Classic Porsche and the first issue of Total 911. Auction closes in 10 days..
What else do I have? This lot. And more.

I’m not going to split off random issues, haven’t got time, but if anyone on DDK wants this lot, and has a big car, then we’re not far off the M5 Junction 22 just South West Of Bristol.
Donation to DDK charity is my suggestion. Pm me if interested. This is roughly what there is.
Firstly there’s the rest of Classic Porsche to issue 52 ( except obviously issue 1, but also without 2 and 3 - god knows what happened to them)
356 registry vol 34- 41 (not totally complete but around 45 editions)
Early octane 2004-2017
2004 8 13 16 18
2005 19 23 25 26 27 28 29 30
2006 is 31-42
2007 is 44-54
2008 iss 55-66
2009 67 68 70 71 727374
2010 iss 79-90 (not 88)
2011 iss 91-102
2012 iss 103-113 not 111
2013 iss 115-116 not 123
2014 to 2017 full years
911 and Porsche World 2014 to present day. About 90 issues.
Total 911 100 issues 2006 to present day
Classic and Sportscar 2014 to present day
Gt porsche 2014 onwards about 60 issues
Evo since issue 196 about 60 issues
Classic Cars 2014 to present day and 20 off random earlier issues.
If they don’t go this way I’ll do the local gumtree route, but I thought I’d start with DDK.
After that it’s the tip.
