Hopefully a simple question.

Can anyone tell me what the bottom four fixings should be that hold the Back Wall Pad through the insulation pad at the floor level.
The fixings on my car are missing, and I'm struggling to judge what is behind the metalwork ( could be a captive nut or speednut ).

I've tried looking on the PET guide ( honest ) but can't see the fixings listed.

Any help would be much appreciated.

The screw is about 25mm long by about 5.7mm wide.

I now know it is a standard screw and not a machine screw that I need.

I have been tidying up the back wall pad and replacing some of the rotten fibreboard.
I will need to find some new spacers too.

The plan is to finish tidying the car before going for an MOT.
If only my refresh was running as smoothly as your project.

Andrew, after I wrote that I realised that I have new screws to replace these so my original four (not including spacers) are surplus. You're welcome to them if you like. Drop me a pm with your address and I'll get them in the post.

My replacements are described as M5.5x25 Pan Head Screws.

As for the spacer things if you drilled out the thread in an M6 rivnut they'd be almost identical to the original thing.

So I've now decided that my back wall pad is in a worse state than I originally thought so need to fix or replace it.

The vinyl is torn in a number of places but worse is that the fibreboard back has disintegrated at the bottom.

Ideally I could find some good original cores and then I would order a vinyl kit, but open to suggestions.
I've seen replacement fibre glass and plastic cores sets but all based in the States.

Does anyone know what the cost effective replacement options are?

I have a lovely condition backpad available.
I removed it from my car and replaced it with carpet, as I was going GT-esque.

OK so still not sorted out a replacement back wall pad.
Does anyone have a sound core for sale that I could recover.

Happy to take a great condition original fibreboard core, or possibly an aftermarket core if you have one spare.

Can anyone tell me how far the 'spacer things if you drilled out the thread in an M6 rivnut they'd be almost identical to the original thing' stick out from the bulkhead? I've just have my shell back from being stripped (via pyrolysis, not dipping in paint stripper), and 2 of the 'spacer things' were present before it went, and none are now it's come back. I assumed they were metal, and never looked closely at them, as the trim panel had been glued in with some kind of 'no more nails' type adhesive, so I never even had to undo the screws. However, I'm guessing they must have been plastic, so got turned to ash during the stripping process, and wishing I'd paid more attention to them now! Thanks,
