The Alfa is a great car, but I must say I don’t like the fact that Alfaholics bung in the later Twinspark engine, I’d rather have the proper 8v Nord engine in it, and then at least the car is period. The Nord engine is easy to tune, mine had a 185 hp 2litre and was torquey.

For the money, you could make a proper period hot rod. I’d equate this car as a SC backdate compared to a 72 shelled ST rep.

And yes, I know, I have a SC backdate !!!

It is expensive, but not compared to the alfaholics GTA-R 290 and it has a lot of the parts from that

Hi Guys
I'm pretty sure that the last of the Alfa 75 twin spark heads would still pretty much fit straight on to the old Nord blocks. This info comes from some time ago and my brain isn't what it was but its possible this car could still have a period block (in Porsche terms think L block with E cams and S heads).

All the best
Ian F.
