Seal / grommet at back of tunnel, for wiring loom

Hi all,
Where the fore-aft wiring loom exits the tunnel at the rear, I believe there should be a grommet or seal. Porsche will happily sell me the equivalent items for the speedo cable, brake line, fuel lines etc, but can't help me with a part number for the wiring loom grommet.
Anyone have any ideas of a part number or supplier? A pic of an original one would also be a great help.
Many thanks in advance, Richard.

Richard, i didn't think there was a grommet. The parts manual refers to a rubber bush which is probably the front bulkhead one.
Mine just had the "bicycle inner tube" sleeving over the outer flange with the cable tie.?

Regards
Dave

I think that there was a rubber 'condom' that was fitted onto the loom which is why nothing shows up on the PET. There weren't any clips holding it in place.

The easiest way to solve the problem is with a couple of lengths of Adhesive Lined Heat Shrink.

You will need to increase the loom diameter with one piece of heat shrink so that the larger diameter tube on the body will shrink down and grip the loom.

Thanks Dave, thanks Chris.
My friendly local OPC parts fellow did say there was a "seal" mentioned as part of a replacement loom (seal not available separately) so maybe that's the condom.

When I did mine there was a grommet which allowed the starter main feed through the tunnel end and as previously mentioned I made the sleeve out of a new bicycle inner tube. Looked just like the original. Secured it with a cable tie to the tunnel.

Apparently, S cars have a Black cable tie whilst the T has a white one. I kid you not....!

Different rubber compound for the inner tube, too?
Have you been on that American site again, Dave? It's not healthy, stop it.

Thanks Richard, for the pic especially.

The rubbery bit in question is quite elusive in pics, usually out of sight behind the torque tube. If anyone has a close-up from an obscure angle so avoiding the torque tube, please post away...

Cheers, Richard.
