Where can I get one of these oil pressure switches?

The oil pressure switch on my 912 isn't like the ones on the normal web sites?

I'm pretty sure it's the reason that my light isn't coming on at start up.

My understanding of these is that the wire which connects directly from the dash light is 12v. Without any oil pressure the switch connects directly to ground? Therefore there should be some small resistance not 1 between the connector on the switch and the body of the switch? As oil flows through the ship the connection between the connector and body is broken?Image

Are you sure that’s not the oil pressure sensor? Or even the temperature sensor?

Excuse the possibility this is a dumb question - might be a trick of the light..
Is that a normal pressure switch (male thread) screwed into a female-female adapter?
If so is there thread sealant or ptfe in the joint? Looks like a white band between the two..

The switch you have there is a normally open switch so it’s reading correctly, as in it should be open circuit with no oil pressure and will close lighting the light, what issue do you have ?

It does look like a switch and an adapter
