Last couple of months been busy with a few biggish jobs to finish off my 6 conversion . Will post a couple of stories at a later date. But one thing I did was to make a new GT engine lid from my original and a spare one I had, using both grills to make one.
Was good to finish off a nice too have! little job tonight with the help of the better half. A cover for the German rain. Obviously not used whilst driving, but whenever parked up outside and it looks like rain Image :)

Very nice Mark. I saw similar on a car at the Oldtimer GP last year and thought to myself I'd make one.

So far I've designed it, bought the vinyl and magnets but not got around to putting it together!

Having spent time with James (23e Heure) and his GT rep, it became obvious that these are an essential item with a GT lid. In fact he'll be along later to ask where the one is I promised to make him

Nice work. I saw a few of these in use at the 914 International in Holland in June.
