Just wondering if anyone has a tried and tested method for removing the rear trailing arm bolts. The nut came off fine with the air gun but I can't get the bolt out for love nor money. I've heated it, spoke to it nicely, hit it, spoke to it aggressively, hit it again, spun it a bit more but they won't pull out.

They're the last thing to come off before she goes off to be welded....

Soak it with liberal applications of WD 40 over a couple of days.

Cheers, yeah I got the front suspension and steering rack off today too so it's all got a gallon of WD40 on it - hopefully that'll do the trick.

This may help.

Both the adjuster bolts should come out (No. 28 & 27), if you've only got one stubborn one left try moving the spring plate relative to the trailing arm to free it off as it maybe catching. I'm assuming you've already got the trailing arm to spring plate bolts out (No. 26)?

I assume it's No. 4 that's the problem. Can only be rusted into the bush (no. 2).

Ah! Yes sorry that's me being dum. Depends how hard you want to go in with the BFH before getting the air saw out and cutting the bolt.

Thanks guys, yeah its No 4 thats causing me the problem. Everything else has been removed.

BFH it is then.

Left hand one came out after a week with WD40, the right hand side had to be cut out, that wasn't moving for anyone.
