Currently rebuilding my solex p11-4 carbs. Found this part on the bench and didn't notice where it came from. Only found one so I'm guessing the other is still in position, but can't find where, checked on the Exploded diagram but can't see it... anyone know? Part measures 3.7mm long x 2.5mm diameter with hole through centre, jet from somewhere?
Cheers
Rob

Have a look at the diagrams on here and if that/Andy can't help then email Bruce Smith who is very helpful/knowledgeable.

Could be the bottom piece of an emulsion tube that has broken off?? Looks like something has snapped from the middle photo of the enlarged ones.

Problem solved. Thanks for the replies.
For future reference the part is from inside the pump, presses into a small hole and sticks through into the float chamber! This was causing the accelerator nozzles to stop working, which was the reason for the carb strip down.
Now it's only running on 3 cylinders from the other carb...

The battle continues
