Which Oil for a 993

Not usually a fan of these threads as it's so subjective but given there are some established 993 owners on here ad they will have probably canvassed opinion before.....
Some sites recommend fully synth 0w-40 where others recommend 5w-40
Any opinions, knowledge please?

Funnily enough researched this yesterday, came up with Mobile 1 FS 0W-40.

Pretty sure that's what I've always used but having had the car off the road for a couple of years couldn't be sure.
Porsche originally recommended various 5W-40 oils but I guess things have moved on since 94

Castrol Magnatec 5w/40. That's what you need. Yep, definitely.

always use good brand mineral in any aircool engine.....that's what they used in the day.
Fully synth always finds a place to leak as it becomes so thin

having heard this before, it makes me wonder why a 0/40 synthetic should be 'thinner' than a 0/40 mineral?
Also can you still get good mineral oils?

And to the question, everyone uses something different, so it doesn't make a blind bit of difference
