Porsche 911, 1972 - Indicator switch problem

Hi all
My switch is a little "tired" and the stalk will not stay in position when flicked up to turn right - ie moves back to center immediately. I was tempted to replace the whole switch but the prices seems to have secretly doubled over the last 24 months........so a repair attempt must be made
I see that one can buy the switch tension springs separately - is it likely to just be a matter of replacing these or is it a more complicated thing?
Many thanks
