106 Rallye - what a brilliant car

I bought one for my daughter when she passed her driving test (and the insurance wasn't too bad!).

What a great car. It was a hoot to drive. Unfortunately ours needed too much work for us. It wouldn't tick over and resisted all efforts to fix it. Also the gearbox was very hard work and it had quite a bit of rust. So in the end it had to go.

We really enjoyed hooning around in it though.

Sadly I've just been negotiating a plan with Mrs Ridg that involves having net fewer cars, so I don't think I can sneak another car in :(

Great rally cars too!
Give up the racing and do proper motorsport!

ahh yes, much though I always thought that rallying might be for me, it doesn't seem to be! Whilst on a good day I can aspire to mediocrity on a race track, I am completely crap on the slippery stuff!

It would be great for Targa Rallies, that's what I'm doing in my Fiesta ST, and I'm only a lowly hillclimber ;)
