Car pictures for Sale legal or not?

While in Lavenham at the weekend i was trying to remember the name of the Porsche specialist located just outside the village, so I typed Porsche Lavenham in to google. Low and behold up comes two pictures of my car. Not really a problem but both the pictures were for sale on some kind of photographic site. The pictures were not taken by me and so were never posted by me on line. One of the pictures also clearly shows the number plate.
I dont really have a problem with the pics being on line but i am a little miffed that they are potentially being sold for profit without my knowledge. I am sure there is some kind of legal infringement taking place but i would like to know what it is before i contact them. any help much appreciated.

If the photos were taken in a public space then the copyright holder is free to sell them.

Interesting site... Just come across a lot of Porsche press archive photos. Not so sure Porsche will be happy about a third party selling on their images.

I would complain on the grounds the pictures of your car are so bad it might affect the resale value should you decide to sell.

I was out in the Lavenham direction on Sunday in the green targa i saw a few classics but no other Porsches.
