Hi,

Might be worth asking Simon at ZH Porsche he's a VW nut - has a Og RHD '53 Oval himself.

The problem will be the little lip at the edge, companies will be worried about the accuracy needed to machine that without making it too thin.

Are they defo beyond stripping and polishing like you would a Fuchs?

Front faces are fine but the rears are quite corroded which is the concern

How about ceramic polishing them? Might get you most of the way there with a lot less material removal...

So we have gone with JP Alloys in Cannock, seem confident they can make them new again, dropped off this morning and ready in 5 days 8)

will let you know how they turn out
