Rubber boot? Bosch cut off switch

I'm fitting a bosch battery cut off switch to the 914, one of the period style ones:

In a lot of the photos I see of cars with these fitted, they have what looks like a rubber boot fitted over the cut off key:

Are these available from somewhere? Or does anyone know what has been used for the purpose?

Oh, and while I'm there, are round red stickers available too, like in my picture?

(Yes, I have googled already, and haven't done very well this afternoon with finding such answers...)

Never seen a rubber cover used before - only the 'blank' type that's fitted over the female part when you remove the 'key'.

The type in your picture looks like an HT (distributor or coil) cover.

As for the red circle - just buy some suitably-coloured self-adhesive vinyl (it comes in A4 sheets - loads on ebay) ...

Thanks Andy, had missed your reply till now.

Re the boot, it's one of those things... It wasn't until I saw it on one car that I realised that a lot of the 914 GT pics I have on file also sport similar, I just hadn't noticed.

What is the 'blank' you refer to? Does that come as standard when you order the Bosch item?

This is the sort of thing I was referring to James:

I had a quick look in my garage & found this red one:

I don't think I've got a Bosch cut-off switch here so I'm not sure if the dimensions are correct - the 'ring' looks too large in diameter from memory.

I'll have another look tomorrow to see if I can find any others - preferably black.
