Hi All,

I have a 993 turbo and am doing brake refurb all around at the mo. When i was doing this I spotted the metal power steering pipes were like anchors. Didnt like the look of them so want to change them. Dont really want to take the rack out. Made some enquiries but apparently ZF have discontinued the sale of parts for these.

I have tried Pirtek and a few other specialists to no avail to get these made.

Does anyone have any ideas on anyone that could make them?

I'm surprised they're NLA, you could certainly get them from Porsche a few years ago.

if you meen the metal ones ON (integral) to the rack, not the ones into (feed and return) the rack, i've made these, you can buy all the bits to make them, just like brake pipes, except they are larger flares, pipes, connections, etc. Best done on the bench. Don't panic it can be done without replacing the rack, your local hydraulic pipe guy should be able to make them for you, when you need them, BUT be sure to give him the rack, as with some of the tools/dies, you can't recreate the exact bends so need to be slightly modified.
