DDK - Die Deutschen Klassiker

I bought the car with ali arms and want to swap back to steel as per factory. I have steel replacements.

I need to buy new bearings and disks anyway but can anyone advise if the hubs and stubs from an ali trailing arm will fit on a steel trailing arm?

I think they will not.
Something to do with the width of the bearing, but not sure.
I think Gary71 went through this, could be mistaken.

Stub axles are the same, but you will need a pair of early hubs with steel arms
