Hi,

Recently I was trying to check the rear brakes on my 914 to ensure that the venting / clearances are correct for the handbrake and rear brakes to operate correctly. However when I took the inspection covers off (for the inside adjustment) which should have given me access to the adjustment screw / gear, I didn't have one fitted on either side. I don't suppose anyone knows where I can get one?

just posted this link, which ahs a photo of the adjustment screw in it just for info...

Thanks for any help!

PMB (in the thread you link to) in the US may have them. Maybe try the calliper restorers, Classicar Automotive in Cheshire they may have a source. Only other suggestion is if you have a friendly 914 owner nearby they could lend you one to make your adjustments?
