hi,
thanks for letting me in,I'm originally a bike boy still got a cple of 80's jap bikes, but as I've reched a certain age,the bikes have seemed to lost there allure,I bought an 84 sl280 merc last year and the bikes were hardly used,so have decided to thin the herd, and try and pick up an aircooled porsche,I realise I've missed the boat somewhat on the 911's,so am on the look out for a 912/912e,so if you know of anything could you give me the heads up'
I'm not really interested in the newer stuff, they don't seem that reliable anyway...ims,rms blah blah blah, but love the look of the early porsche's
looking to get involved

Welcome,
Bikes lost allure to me when I kept seeing riders splattered all over the pavement and over the hoods of cars. People in the USA do not look for bikes. Riders have a very serious disadvantage. Had a dozen friends from OZ come to visit last year and went on a country crawl around the Southern states on Rented Harleys (I declined) Sure as anything on the last day one of them was hit by a car and ended up recovering here in the hospital with a broken femur until he could make the 16 hours flight back home. Not appealing to me at all.

Cheers
