1967 - 912 Engine Bay - Location of light

Hi Everyone
Firstly Merry Christmas to all!!!
1967 - 912 and or early 911
Does anyone have a photo and /or dimension details of the location of an engine bay light which can be fitted to the engine cover/lid.
If so please it would also be very helpful if you could also advise on the wiring route. I assume that the wires should be connected to the rear license plate lights?
