Removing Solex P40-2 carbs from 912 engine

I want to remove my carbs to get them sent off to be rebuilt.
This looks like a DIY task but before I do something stupid , can anyone walk me through the removal sequence ?

dead easy
Disconnect any of the hoses going to your air cleaners (depends what air cleaners you have installed)
Take the air cleaners off. (clips or bolts depending on which ones you have)
Remove the 10mm bolts holding air cleaner base to carbs and remove the base and gasket.
Disconnect the fuel line banjo bolts (17mm I think) from each carb (don't loose the washers) and clamp flexible bit of your fuel line that comes into engine bay to help stop any excess fuel dribbling out into engine bay once banjo bolts undone.
Pop off the ball cups from the carb linkage to the throttle arms
remove the 4 x 13mm nuts holding each carb to the manifold.
pull off the carbs (and phenolic spacers if fitted) taking care not to allow anything to fall down the inlet manifold into the head
put some masking tape over inlet manifold opening so nothing falls down there whilst carbs are away
empty your carbs of any fuel left in them as don't think your postal courier would like that

probably worth wrapping them in clingfilm before posting - saves a lot of heartache if something does leak out of them when shipping
I had an earful of a courier last night for a diff I received that was full (when posted, 1/2 empty when received) of oil because it was leaking through the box

Last time I did anything like this was in 1972 , you might not even have been born then !!
