70 S rear-front oil pipes - finish recommendation

Hi all,

The long oil pipes that run from the rear of the car to the front oil cooler are out of my car, in need of refinishing.
Does anyone have any recommendations for paint finish, please?

It strikes me that two things might affect this:
1) Part of their purpose is to dissipate heat. Don't want to ruin this with a nice insulating coating...
2) (related to 1) They are made of a non-ferrous metal - brass or an alloy thereof, I would guess from looking at them. Paint needs to stick to that...

Many thanks, Richard.

They get grit blasted from day one...
Painted mine with Hammerite black about 20 years ago, and re cover the wheel arch area of the pipe run every so often when the brass shows though.
