912 Seats

My 912 is being fully restored and we are now onto the interior.... The original headrestless vinyl seats are to get seat refub kits....

A friend with a 69 911 mentioned it might be a better idea getting a new seat in leather from say Torino. Costs a bit more but maybe a better solution.

Has anyone gone down this route? Any advice ?

Many thanks

Depends if you want to keep stock or go with something modified?

I decided to store my original seats and went for period looking sports seat. I found the originals far too bouncy and didn't hold you in sufficiently when using the car in a more "sporting" manner. Mounted carefully using existing mounting positions, its a 10 minute job to switch back to the originals and no damage to the shell.

He will be able to advise on the best route. He can do it for you, or supply leather or a kit. I think
