I'm not expert, but that is a lovely car and what seemed to be a far price. But I stand to be corrected....

Hi, or another option how about our freshly restored 72 S with great history. Needs nothing bar a new home.

PS. A gold 2.4S would be pretty cool, if it does not sell this winter I think I will paint it next year 8)

Photo 6 shows the decals on the engine slam panel. From my own research , and owning a 1972 LHD Italian S, the second space from the left should have no decal and remains blank. Often used by the dealer to stick their own next service due at sticker.

This is a shot I took at the OGP in 2013 of a German 911S, not my car.

But that's a 1978-on rear slam panel?

Can't remember, it was years ago at the OGP at the Ring and I'd a bit too much wine. I use the photo to illustrate the decal layout as it should be on a 2.4S 1972 Euro model.

Checked , it was this car for sale in August 2015 at Coys OGP Auction
