Mounting holes engine bay..

I was about to fit the sound deadening mat in the engine compartment and saw the two mounting holes. Didn't want to cover them if they're needed... my car is 1973 E, what are they for?

They are for the mounts that hold the vacuum tank if went for the much admired very sort after sportomatic option. :)
