bent bonnet hinge ??

Hi everyone
Just wondered if my bonnet hinge is bent or should it look like this ?

Just had a look at my 73T's original bonnet hinges.
Mine are like yours.

I 'straightened' all the air guides plates that sit between the cylinders on the engine... then realised after I'd had them powder coats they were supposed to be dented/bent...

Glad I'm not alone in wanting to straighten everything
I will leave them alone ,unless I can't get my bonnet to fit ..
I guess they probably tweaked all sorts of bits at the factory !
When I was 16 I worked at an austin dealership and one day I saw a car with two men hanging from it's open drivers door ..they were trying to bend the hinges so it would close !

The inner wings where the hinges bolt follow the taper of the car's nose.
These sets make the bonnet hinge line square and stop binding.
I worked in Body in White in the late 80's around the world when I was engineering central locking systems, USA/Japan/Europe and saw a lot of doors set by wood blocks and a good heave in the right place.
Montego's in Cowley were quite prone...
