didn't Bruce at sport wagon get that one? Liverpool?

Miggs has a Genuine 911/2 org 60's wheel. And I am sure they are steel and not ali. I wounder if you can polish the steel and laquer it afterwards.

erm, I'd use a magnet to find out if the spokes are steel or not

I sanded and varnished the wooden rim on my old 67 912 and painted the inner spokes black again. It was horrid before but look quite good after. Just thought I'd attach a pic in case it helped.

Should it have an Ambient temp gauge on the left and a different combined one (petrol and oil temp?) next to it?

Correct,

12's red line at around 6k.

The car is a 67 with a 69T motor fitted.

Miggs - there were 2 different versions of the Factory woodrim wheel fitted to early 911's & 912's :

The original version had black painted aluminium spokes/spine & is much rarer & consequently worth much more money !

The later version (introduced around mid-'65) had steel spokes which were originally plastic-coated & had a thin black stripe around the front edge of the rim (as seen in Alan's photo above).

right mines got the black stripe so they are steel
