Hi everyone,
I was at Bicester yesterday where I had a chat with another 912 owner who pointed me in the direction of this forum, so I thought I'd introduce myself.
I have a 1967 model year, UK spec 912. It has 5-speed box, matching numbers etc. I bought it a while ago to restore, and although I started to strip it out, it is currently in storage. The body has rotted in all the usual paces. Been off the road for years. My aim is to return it to original (ivory).
I'm not new to classics, and also have a 944, but this is my first 912. I've loved pre- '73 911/ 912 since I was a kid, and couldn't believe it when I found one. Now all I need is a lot of money to get t back on the road!
