My 1969 911e has this issue. The car starts fine on the hand throttle and once started it warms up reasonably quickly and I can shut down the hand throttle within 5 mins or less. At that point the car runs perfectly. Once it gets properly hot though, it's less happy at lower revs. The tick over ticks up to between 1200 and 1400 rpm and the car bogs down at low revs, especially in second gear. I presume the bogging down is running slightly lean? This is most noticeable where one has slowed down into second gear, not quite enough to change down to first, and then tries to pull away when the car may kangaroo a bit if one isn't careful.

None of this happens if the car is driven in a spirited fashion, but obviously this is not always possible in town traffic.

I know the engine is good and that the mfi pump is good.

Obviously, any suggestions welcome, but absent an easy solution, who are the experts on this?

I would check that the hose to the MFI thermostat is in good order, both the inner and outer. Also the one below the tin wear in the near side wheel well. I would also strip the thermostat and clean the bi-metalic disc's. It may be that the pump isn't leaning off when its getting hot.
