After nearly finishing my 3.2 black/black rebuild and loving the look and now not bearing to part with it after my ocd kicked in on the rebuild. I have now decided to sell on a couple of my others cars that I just dont drive enough (I had originally planned to sell the 3.2) to get some space. In case they are of interest here to people I thought I would put them up here first. I have a couple of trade offers but they arent enough to part with them!
The first is a silver 996 GT3 clubsport Mk1 RHD UK car. Its as new, full history at OPC or Parr Motorsport, air con & original radio cassette, 25k miles. Aparently one of 25 RHD Mk1 clubsports. Last serviced by OPC Exeter 12 months ago. It was done as a major service and 'fix anything that is required' basis so it is all spot on. Not much more to say than that!. After £75k
Second is a 1976 Carrera 3.0 Coupe RHD UK car
Positives:
Mint shell, never been welded, crashed or any hints of rust
Just had major mechnical refurb
Top end rebuild, new valves guides etc
Rebuilt fuel injection, professional rebuild of fuel distributor and WUR, new fuel pump & tank
New S/S exhaust and heat exchangers
Rebuilt calipers and new discs all around
New set of tyres on new style fuchs
86k miles with history to back it up
Allegedly Elton John first owner although the only real claim to fame that I can prove is that it was definitely owner by his management company.
Original 76 whaletail.
Negatives:
It is currently silver with blue interior and should be ice metallic green and cork/tartan interior
Exterior chrome bits have been changed to black
Has a few dings in the bodywork
I had planned to strip it paint it back to original and revert back to chrome and cork/tartan. I have pretty much all of the interior and chrome to do this, but don't have the time in the near future as want to finish my 2.2s. Would be a easy resto as no rust issues and mechnically all done!.
I have receipts for about £6k's worth of bits and have spent too many hours to count on engine and injection to count
