DDK - Die Deutschen Klassiker

I have two 1972 exterior door handles with locking tumblers in but no key, and ignition key is different, does any one know how I can get a set of keys cut etc, or do I have to replace the tumblers with new and new keys?? Any help appreciated ....

If you wish to take the ignition key as the master, assuming the glove box matches it, if you take it apart as per the article you can work out the number of each of the tumbler pins. When you open up the door lock tumblers you can see if you are lucky and can just reorder the tumbler pins to match or more likely you will need some extra tumbler pins.

If you think the door locks are the original, Porsche can provide a new key based on your chassis number (£27 comes to mind). You can then stick with two keys or re order the tumbler pins for the ignition lock.

when I looked for these recently the only place I could find was this guy in the States.

If you contact him directly he can do cheaper postage than eBay suggests.

The kits are good and work well.

If anyone knows of a UK or EU supplier then that would be helpful.

That's the kit I have ish (brought it from MT) mines in a large divider box and has a larger selection of tumble keys

Works great, your'll be able to re-tumble your locks to match one key, it's fiddly but do-able even the ignition barrel can be changed if you need to match that to the door locks (which is normally the case)
