Oh boy. Rarity of colour <times> desirablity of colour <times> cost premium of an RS <equals> lots of <division>

I dont know what was the rarest colour, but Leaf Green (3 built, I believe) would certainly be a rarer RS colour than even the number of Olives they built.
Find me one of the originals in that colour and I'd sell all my worldly possessions to own it.
(Please excuse crappy iphone pic, I took it late at night in Mike Usiskin's kitchen ;-) )

Only 2 leaf green James. One in the USA in the original colour. Last I heard the other is a colour change.

Nice olive RS. Was at Neil Bainbridges for resto. He and Hexagon seem to have something going on. Apparently another rare colour nearly finished with the same combination of restorer/seller. The olive car is aprox £625k he told me. looks nice in that colour. First time I've seen one.

Regards
Mike

Out of interest, Mike, how many purple ones, apart from GIA 444?
Cheers

16 Lilac as it was known in The RS world.

One of those has just started its restoration in the UK too.

Hi, Lilac is a great colour on an RS. We are fully restoring one at the moment, it's nearing completion now and will be at the Goodwood members meeting this month. Great colour and great number plate!

We have an Irish green and signal yellow 1:500 next. I will try and get some more pics up if interested.

Thanks

Alan
