Yes.Its one of those.I bought this old girl, in a drunken Ebay moment last year.I really dont know why,as Ive an 83 SC and two motorbikes that require restoration.
Anyway, I started to take it apart and 7 months later, weve got this far.(This pic was taken on arrival day)
Its an 80 model, with only 44k, and 5 owners.Plus a fully stamped book.I used to be in the trade, however im semi retired (or was that retarded?) so this at present is my full time pastime! Please feel free to puruse the many pics, that document many, many hours of sweat, torment and expletives! At least it will give me some practice before i tackle the 911!

Doing a fine job. Nice to see someone taking care of a 924 for a change!

Thanks Gary.Since this build,Ive met some members of the "924 club" the amount of power that they get from this humble "van block" is astonishing!
Its been a no expense build, using uprated parts without swerving too much from the original essence of the car.
Bilsteins will be fitted,Adjustable sway bars, poly bushes,Fuchs, ceramic coating of manifold and turbo etc.Seriously considering a TMIC to get HP to 200ish.

Wow great work on a great car, but then I am a sucker for 80's cars with pop up lights
