Hello from another lurker!

Hello there!
I've been lurking for a while and even joined sixth months ago but have only now got round to introducing myself.
In the summer I bought a '66 912 and have been driving it as much as possible, so far I've put on 2.5k miles and a smile that keeps getting bigger!! In the previous 10 years she'd only averaged 100 miles a year so she's now getting a thorough workout! So far I've changed the oil in the engine and transmission and done the brake fluid and pads. I also got to change the light switch after the original decided to incinerate itself, luckily no damage beyond an acrid smell in the nostrils! Traced it to the instrument lights, which of course were unfused, so that is being sorted at the moment.
Now the weather has closed in I've also started refurbishing bits and pieces, the under bumper fog lamps, the pedal cluster bushes, and to come is a full suspension rebuild and recondition as most of the bushes are shot, though that'll wait for it to warm up as I'm working outside at the minute. Also I'm tracing her history, so far I've found that she was owned by a Frazer Nash enthusiast who took her on some of their 'Raids' to Bolzano and the Nurburgring (with pictures!!!), and he was also the chap who paid AFN to put in the '69 911E engine!
I'll upload some pics for your enjoyment once I get them hosted.
Anyway, that's enough from me, look forward to answering any questions you have about her and hopefully asking a few of my own!
Cheers,
Oli
