Need to find a company who can line bore (not hone) a pair of early crankcases.
Any suggestions/testimonials?

More complicated than that!
Gantspeed are overseeing the engine rebuild but this job is subcontracted to another specialist! Not sure I should say but they look after a truly gob-smacking selection of classic race cars!

I only ask because it could be something I need to consider soon. Perhaps you could pm your thoughts on the job, time scale, cost, professional service etc when it's finished. It's good to get a few recommendations from around the country for this work. There seems to be a plethora of well respected engineering services widely supported in the USA but not so well known (to me at least) here in the UK.
Nick, do you happen to know if Redtek do this work in house or is it subcontracted and, if so, to where?
Regards
Mike
