Spare steel wheel

Hi all

my car came with a spare steel wheel in the front boot. I dusted it down the other day with the view to fitting a new tyre along with 4 other new tyres I was fitting to my new alloys. I plumped for 185/70R15 89H Vredestein Sprint Classics they look really good.

On closer (or not so closer) inspection the spare wheel turns out to be 5 stud not 4 which perplexes me as to why someone would bother putting it in the boot in the first place!

Anyway if any one has a spare 'spare' wheel or can point me in the direction of one Id appreciate it:-) I have a spare set of alloys I could use one as a spare but thought the original steel type would be better.

thanks

Andrew

Hi Andrew,
I'd be interested in your 5 stud steel spare if you want to find a new home for it.
Cheers
Jon

Hi Jon

no problem. What I dont know is if its a proper 5 stud to fit the 911 hub etc i fear it was just dumped in the boot to give the effect of that car having a spare. Any ideas how I can check the stud patter / size etc?

thanks

Andrew
