DDK - Die Deutschen Klassiker

I have lurked for a while...finally decided to register and come out of the shadows. I live in the mountains outside of Denver CO. Been absorbed by Porsches for years. Cut my teeth learning to weld 912s back together. Have owned newer 911s, but currently my newest is my daily driver 1974 2.7 which is on the road year round. He gets studded snows when the weather changes. Absolutely nothing like driving a 911 in the snow. Just finished restoration on a 71 SWT with a stroked 2.2, and have a 914-6 on the rotisserie. My vintage racecar is 71 ST look with a 2.2+ engine. Also have a couple open 356s. I do all my own work except for painting (although given my last two ordeals with painters, this may change) and try to restore a car a year. I am currently looking for a 2.2 S engine 6301329 to help a friend out. If you need help with a PPI or finding early cars/parts in my area, let me know and I will try to help.

Love to post some car pics. I don't think I am entitled to do attachments yet. Sent a message to the moderators concerning attachments and haven't heard back yet. If I am confused...school me.

Brembo...I am about an hour from Ft Collins. We have a pretty strong Porsche contingency in the front range of Colorado (Ft Collins-Denver-Colorado Springs-Pueblo), as well as a new world class track the collective local motorsports groups were able to fund and build in the last ten years.

Read the thread...but I must be an idiot. Give me a wrench or a welder and I am in my element. I posted this on the help thread, but I may as well duplicate it here...
...So I come from a Pelican and Early S environment, and on those forums, when I click on "manage attachments" it brings up a box that will allow me to browse...when I click on browse it gives me the option to click on libraries, then pictures, then select picture and then click the button that allows me to open the picture...and then upload. So I guess all my pictures are in my library which means they are on my hard drive. I don't use flicker or dropbox as I never had to. Can you guide me through how to pull pictures off my hard drive? I will weld something for you : )
