wiper and indicator switches

I have my original pair of switches that I'm going to re-fit and am wondering how best to clean and lubricate them without trying to take them apart. Is there a recommended spray lubricant for electrical switches ?

I think there is, a spray 'contact cleaner'.
I've seen it in the past in RS Components' catalogue.
Spray it on/in the mechanism and manipulate it a few times.
