DDK - Die Deutschen Klassiker

Nipped along to a wet & muddy Wheels Day on Fri. Shame about the Bank Holiday weather as it clearly put folks off bringing their cars out or just coming along to look. Even so, it was worth the effort and the fiver to get in... think they give the proceeds to Charity so a pity about the low turnout.

Pics are suffering a bit from camera operator error, it was gloomy but not that dark.. and some unintended cropping!

Starting withe only Porsche content...

This was one of my favourites... 1929 Ford A with a 3.9l Rover V8. Raced at Pendine Sands last year doing a shade under 106mph! And he's hoping for more this year.

No - this is a three-dial dash, with two non-stock extra gauges added. Mine was a five-gauge dash. Looks a pretty car, though.

Pop is nice but sits a little too low at the back for my taste - needs a nose-down rake. Also not keen on the hood scoop. 7/10...

This "beauty" called The Misfit popped up on the Hot Rod picture thread a little while ago and seeing it in the metal doesn't disappoint. It's a meticulous build with terrific details, loved it.
