My 68S had basketweave throughout, so I guess it's possible that some cars got a mix of basketweave and elephant hide.

This car has lost it's bright interior trim to the dash, door release buttons and door caps, correct exterior mirror; it has the later, larger, Durrant mirror. It should be black in the engine bay and luggage area, but a lot of people prefer that. Still, lots to do to make it 100% correct!

Hi All
Call me pedantic but if this car was 'striped down to a bear shell' why have the door interior switches been painted over...
Just saying!

all the best

Engine bay should be black I'd have thought.

Also 'Andy Prill of Porsche fame' is a smidge misleading.

I'm also a big fan of the price. I can imagine the conversation:

How much shall we ask for it?

£200k doesn't seem enough.

£215k then.

Don't be ridiculous, no one will pay that.

How about £214,995?

That sounds much more realistic.

I'm just jealous, of course. I sold a near identical (with better details) LHD car for £45,000 not very long ago :(

the 'brightware ' for the dash was hugely expensive ,when i was looking a couple years back and extremely hard to find ............fortunately found our missing pieces from a certain Mr Moss........at a very fair price !

It says "Andy Prill of Porsche fame" built engine.

What's misleading about that?
