Many thanks, Nick.

Roger Bray supplier them and they are used by Revival in their cars. However, I think if you know what you need you can get the parts from elsewhere for less. I'm not an expert but the VW ones aren't good for 912s so be careful.

I bought mine from the US via ebay, all in it was less than £270 for the 3 part kit, far better price than I could find in the UK. Nick, PM me if you want me to dig for details.

right I got to remember this right now. because it's been a while. The VW plate will fit but will not last as long
as it's thinner so it just means your be changing it more.. in my head 6000miles rings a bell and for me 6000 miles is about 20 years driving :-/
so not quite as bad as you think

I sent mine to Auto Industrial friction in Bedfordshire, it was a few years ago, my Dad who uses them more often tells me the original owner has sadly passed away but the business is still going. I had 2 friction plates fitted with new float springs and the surface relined (nice to have a spare ready to go) with a material he recommended as being an upgrade over stock (upgraded to bonded rather than riveted too) and new springs fitted to the pressure plate all for about half the cost of a clutch kit. No complaints with the work so far but mileage wise I can't yet vouch for longevity.
