I emailed Andy to ask if he knew anybody that had a 65 912, for the Stanford Hall show, and he has kindly offered to host a 912 day at their new premises. I will post more details when I hear. I think it would be a pretty good day out. If you haven't heard of Andy Prill here is their web site. They look after some interesting cars.

That sounds really great Neil and I would be very interested in a visit and to meet other 912 owners.
Thanks very much for helping to co-ordinate that.
Marcus

Would make sense - I think the scale he's at now requires nothing less. He did have a lovely workshop at his house when we visited on a 912 day many moons ago.

Clearly he has the reputation to take on the work. 356's already have buyers willing to have the right work carried out at that level. 912's are following suit with some cars up for £49k ( I say the word ASKED price ) but clearly that can only lead to buyers more ready to part with the money to have it done right. Don't for get we have lost in the last 10 years a number of well known and respected flat 4 Porsche engine builders. So I can't see him being short of work..

Is Adam following him? That to me would be the million dollar question.

I wish him well... Flat 4 drama, I'll get a bag of pop corn this may take some time to unfold. :happy1:

I'm not really up on what has been happening but hasn't Adam already left to go else where. Like George that came on here and is at Paul Stephens?

I would absolutely love to go along, just let me know the day.

Have you asked Max at Revival about a '65 ??

I was there yesterday, he has an absolutely gorgeous '68 in stock, stunning and very original.

To be honest Neil I have been so out of all things Porsche that I have not seen a number of these guys for some time.
Adam is the future in terms of our flat 4 engines along with Andy. Oh! and the PRS boys.. ( sorry Mike :) ) so it's sounding like some thing was not going too well for the team to start leaving like that. Just my view point looking in.. Only because I have had that twice with two local companies ( my competitors ) fitters and sales guys and girls come to me for a job.. I knew then some thing must be going wrong if they where leaving. Oh well we sit it out and wait to see what happens. As a team they certainly had some cream jobs reading my Octaine mag over the last couple of years.

Afternoon all,

I would be up for this, would be great to meet with a few other 912 owners and pick their collective brains. I have 69 due to be delivered later this month so
I'm just starting off down the flat-four path so eager to meet others owners. I live just outside Cambridge so this is pretty local for me.

Keep us posted !!
